I'm Clay and welcome to my BBQ & food blog. This is a space for me to share cooks and my joy of all things smoking and cooking. If you enjoy any of the recipes I post feel free to leave a comment.

I grew up in the south, and lived there many years before moving out to the northwestern US. After that move, I found myself missing the BBQ of my former home so I started smoking up a storm during the COVID-19 pandemic to recreate Carolina pulled pork BBQ among other treats and keeping a log of my cooks. I found my passion for cooking reignited. If I'm not smoking barbeque, you might find me manning a wok or drinking a German Pilsner.
